2017 Annual Gala: New Name, New Home and New Leaders
Posted By:
Wednesday, April 19, 2017

The Children’s Home of Cincinnati is excited to announce its 2017 annual fundraiser with a new name – Rockin’ at Riverfest. Leading the fundraising team this year are Dr. Karen and John “Boe” Bankston, Jeff and Lindsay Berding, and Michael and Lauri Prescott with a bold new move to a new location – Anderson Pavilion at Smale Park in Downtown Cincinnati – to be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017.

“In 2016, more than 600 guests attended the sold-out event raising more than a quarter of a million dollars,” said Rod Hinton, Vice President of Advancement and Community Engagement for The Children’s Home of Cincinnati. “This is a great opportunity to share the story of The Children’s Home and our impact, along with an opportunity to engage our community. We are honored to have the leadership of three of Cincinnati’s most prominent couples partnering with us to make this event a success.”

“The Children’s Home of Cincinnati has been a great organization to work with. Their mission is admirable, and the services they provide to more than 7,800 local children every year are critical to the future of Cincinnati. Lindsay and I are happy to be able to offer our experiences in helping to make this event a continued success.” said Jeff Berding, President and General Manager of the FC Cincinnati local soccer franchise.
