Mental Health Services

The Children's Home of Cincinnati is the largest provider of school-based behavioral health care in the Cincinnati region. 94% of children who completed counseling improved in their overall functioning and experienced a decrease in problem severity. When children experience behavioral changes or mental health challenges, it affects their everyday lives. Many of these services are reimbursable through Medicaid.

Our goal is to help children build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in life.

School Based Counseling and Community Support Services

Behavioral health services are provided in the school, home, or at The Children’s Home by a licensed mental health therapist. The therapist will work with you and your child to determine a specific treatment plan that meets your needs. Serving grades K-12.

The goal is to place a medical professional in the schools to accelerate the process of assessment so that more children with mental and behavioral challenges, like ADHD, can benefit from early diagnosis and management. Services are available at our main campus location and school based.

Doctors use evidence based methods to evaluate the cause of underlying psychiatric conditions to establish if there is a need for further evaluation by another specialist. Doctors work to collaboratively develop a treatment plan with the parent to best meet the needs of the child.

We offer Walk-In Open Access hours at our Levine Health Center (5051 Duck Creek Road, Cincinnati, OH 45227) on Mondays from 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
