Early Childhood Programs

Families of young children –
from pre-natal to age 12 – enjoy an array
of education and support services to help
them achieve success in the classroom.

The Children’s Home offers many programs for young children and their families.

From services focused on development and learning to summer fun on our campus, there are a variety of resources to meet even the youngest child’s needs. These include:

Preschool: Our on-campus preschool meets the childcare needs of working families and provides a safe, nurturing environment for children ages 3 to 5.

Kindergarten Readiness Program: Our home-based literacy readiness program works hand-in-hand with parents to promote school readiness in children
ages 3 to 5.

Home Visitation: Our Every Child Succeeds® home visitation service provides support and education to first-time parents and their families (prenatal to age 3).

Therapeutic Support: Mental health support for children and their families includes early childhood counseling, community- based services (case management) and day treatment.

After-School Enrichment: Our after-school program offers a fun and educational alternative for children ages 5 to 12 in four Cincinnati Public Schools.

Summer Day Camp: Camp-I-Can is an enriching, 10-week summer day camp for children ages 5 to 12.
