Social difficulties or emotional distress can prevent even the best student from functioning well in school environments. Our School-Based Services can help.
School-Based Services: Helping Students Cope and Succeed
School-Based Services consist of a series of treatment-focused groups designed to teach students new coping strategies to improve their social functioning in the school environment, and assist them in their social and emotional growth and development. Held in school settings, each small group is led by licensed mental health professionals who provide students with an environment conducive to learning and practicing skills, including but not limited to: establishing healthy relationships with others, developing positive self-images, assuming responsibility for oneself, problem solving, decision making, anger management, conflict resolution and values clarification.
