Whether caring for a newborn or preparing your young child for kindergarten success, parenting can sometimes feel like an overwhelming experience. Our Every Child Succeeds home visitation services offer support and education to first-time parents, helping them adjust to the changes in their lives. The Supporting Partnerships to Assure Ready Kids (SPARK) program supports the social, emotional and cognitive development of children and works hand-in-hand with their parents to promote school readiness.

Every Child Succeeds

Every Child Succeeds (ECS) is a free, voluntary program available for families with children ages prenatal to three years. ECS offers support and education to first-time parents through home visits, parenting groups, monthly resource gift bags, health and developmental screenings and more. A highly skilled support specialist conducts home visits at teh convenience of each family, providing support and education and ensuring a healthy adjustment to being a new family.

The Children's Home is proud to be a lead agency in providing this national, evidence-based program to children and their families.  

The goal of the SPARK program is to create children who are ready to succeed in kindergarten and schools that are ready to educate all children. SPARK is a comprehensive program that supports the healthy social, emotional, and cognitive development of children, and works hand-in-hand with families to support school readiness and with schools to support the successful transition of children into the educational system. Home visitation services include developmental screenings, learning plans, follow-up assessments, and individual therapies as needed. SPARK home visitation services are availaible to families in the neighborhood of John P. Parker Elementary in Madisonville.
