Be a Class Champion Supporter
Make a significant difference for at-risk children by being a Class Champion. Your annual gift of $2,500, $3,500, $5,000 or more provides critical support to programs for children. In addition to the heartfelt satisfaction of knowing you’ve personally helped transform children’s lives, you will be acknowledged as a Class Champion with a plaque in our lobby, your name listed in our publications, and other recognitions.

Be an Amazing Sustainer
When you choose to help improve the lives of vulnerable children on a monthly basis — no matter the amount! — you belong to a select group we call our Amazing Sustainers. Your monthly gift literally helps to sustain the improved mental and physical health of the children we serve.

Matching Gifts

Corporate matching gift programs are a wonderful way to increase your contribution to The Children’s Home.
How does it work?

  • Check with the HR department at your company to see if a matching gift program exists and to make sure no restrictions apply.
  • Pick up and fill out a matching gift form.
  • Send the form to The Children’s Home along with your contribution.

We will complete the form and mail it back to your company. Your company sends a contribution to match the amount you sent. If your company does not have a matching gift program, an inquiry from an employee can sometimes help motivate management to set one up.

Planned Giving

One of the most impactful investments you can make in The Children’s Home is by including the organization in your charitable estate plan.

Whether via a bequest, naming the organization a beneficiary of investments and insurance policies or by establishing a charitable remainder trust, taking the time to plan for future support is vital to the organization’s future and the children’s future chances of health and success.

Doing so also qualifies you for membership in the Golden Heart Society – special recognition of a select group of the organization’s most valuable contributors.

We invite you and/or your estate planner to start the conversation with our VP of Advancement and Community Relations Roderick Hinton at 513.527.7265 or via email at One thing you’ll find when you do reach out to Roderick is that we’re supportive of ensuring your own family’s future first and foremost.

If it helps, we have access to financial and legal professionals who can assist you in planning for and establishing a legacy gift to The Children’s Home. Please refer to the Legal Advisors tab.

Buechner“We all take steps to shape what we would like our world to look like after we pass on and my legacy gift to The Children’s Home is one such gift. A productive IRA has allowed me to make legacy gifts to other organizations. So, it was easy to add The Children’s Home of Cincinnati as a deserving beneficiary of this philanthropic oriented account.”

– Robert W. Buechner

Jerow“Where would our country, our world be today without children? Children are our future and some are not as fortunate as others. So, those who can help need to step up. Easy decision! God bless The Children’s Home and its leaders.”

Dominiak“By putting The Children’s Home in our estate plans, we are doing a small part to ensure that this organization can continue creating amazing stories well after we depart. Many people helped us achieve what we achieved in life. Our giving is a small gesture to help The Children’s Home transform the lives of vulnerable children.”
