 Child Care ProgramOur Child Care Program provides parents and children with enriching, superior-quality child care services. We have taken great care to provide a warm, home-like, nurturing environment within our Early Childhood Center. Child care classrooms surround a central, sky-lit living room area where children and caregivers can relax and enjoy quiet activities together. There are also rooms dedicated for music and movement, a wet play area, and a children's garden. The Early Childhood Center is licensed by the Ohio Department of Human Services and the City of Cincinnati. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the Council on Accreditation. Our Child Care Program is designed for children ages 3 months through 5 years and operates from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Preschool children may be accepted on a part-time weekly basis and infants or toddlers are accepted on a full-time basis only. The center provides breakfast, a morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack. We feature low staff-to-child ratios as detailed below:
OrientationThe Child Care Program provides opportunities for parents, children and teachers to spend time together in the classroom during the enrollment process, so that all parties can feel as comfortable as possible with the transition to the program.EnrollmentTo receive an enrollment packet, simply e-mail your request, or call The Early Childhood Center at (513) 272-2800. A $35.00 non-refundable processing fee will be charged per family. The Preschool program offers the Early Learning Initiative (formally Head Start Plus). Scholarships may be available for this program through the United Way. The Child Care Program is enhanced by several other early childhood services and programs, including on site Parent and Child Groups and home visiting services such as Every Child Succeeds.
